Mach4 Overview

For Mach4 we currently provide a download package that includes a settings wizard and scripts for ATC operations.

Download

Once you activate your magazine with Mach4 motion control selected, you will find the latest download package for Mach4 available on your dashboard.

Unzip

Unzip the package into your Mach4 root directory, it should be something like C:\Mach4Hobby. This will add the appropriate modules and the wizard to the appropriate locations. A new folder will also be created ~\Profiles\RapidChangeATC\Macros\.

Move Macros

The new ~\Profiles\RapidChangeATC\Macros\ directory should contain six files. Copy these files into any profile you plan to use with your RapidChange ATC, such as ~\Profiles\Mach4Mill\Macros\. Restart Mach4 to allow the program to compile the macros and then load the RapidChangeATCSettings wizard to configure your magazine installation.

• load_rapidChangeATC.mcs - Utitilty for loading RapidChange modules.

• m6.mcs - M6 Change Tool.

• m108.mcs - M108 Open Cover.

• m109.mcs - M109 Close Cover.

• m131.mcs - M131 Measure Tool.

• m132.mcs - M132 Measure Workpiece.
