RapidChange ATC

Proudly Made in the USA!

We are humbled to be able to offer the world a product whose value outweighs its cost exponentially!
We receive a modest price and our customers increase their productivity indefinitely.
Whether you operate a CNC for fun or profit your time is valuable. Don't let it go to waste by changing tools with wrenches.
Tool changes go from being a dreaded experience to being fun. It is amazing to see it transform your CNC experience!
Saving time and frustration makes this the most valuable addition to CNC mills and routers on the market.
CNC machining is not truly automation without Automatic Tool Changes.

Lifetime Warranty!

Our patent pending RapidChange Sockets now come with an Unconditional Lifetime Warranty and we ship our linear magazines with 2 extra sockets. We know that you will get tens of thousands of tool changes and we stand behind that 110%

Since perfecting the socket design and manufacturing process 100% of socket damage is caused by running the spindle too fast during set up.

In fact our customers have never paid for replacement parts of any type including sockets, servos, PCBs even housings and covers even when the damage was user error.

With over 2 years of service around the world we can make the bold claim that RapidChange ATC is the future of CNC machining in both the hobby market as well as light industrial manufacturing.

Manufactured in House

  • We machine and print our own components in Northern Michigan as a family business.

  • We have developed our tool changer and software 100% in house.

  • Our tool changers run on our CNCs everyday and we couldn't live without them.

  • Every magazine is crafted and quality controlled by us.

  • We hold a high standard for our products and stand behind them 110%.

  • We source as much of our materials in the USA as possible.

In Service on 6 Continents

We have been providing automatic tool changes around the world since our field testing began in May of 2023. More than half of our original field testing was preformed internationally.

Growing Partnerships

We are thrilled to be allied with our international partners.

  • We have been working with Onefinity CNC in Canada for the last year developing the Easy ATC by RapidChange for them exclusively.

  • We recently worked with Masso in Australia to develop native integration in their upcoming version 5.10

  • We are working with Eding CNC in the Netherlands to develop a plugin for creating macros for their controller.

How it Works

This is the official documentation for our automatic tool changer.

All the information needed to understand our system is available right here.
You will find guides for installation, wiring and configuring your new magazine for ATC operations.

Learn how our services make integrating ATC with your machine simple and easy.

Macros

Every automatic tool change system requires custom functionality to be implemented for the tool change process. This functionality is usually scripted as a macro or subroutine.

Using profiles, you can configure your magazine installation with our Web UI and generate the required macros for your ATC operations without writing a single line of code.

Ease of Installation

Locating pins are included to help installation providing precise alignment.
Mounting Pattern DXF files are available on the dashboard for convenient download.

X, Y and Z Position

Locating pocket 1 in X, Y and Z is simple and straight forward.
The locating disc and 1/4 x 1 1/2 dowel pin included with each magazine allows you to easily find the pocket 1 machine coordinates for X and Y.

The Z position is the point that the collet nut just clears the IR sensor beam. All Z positions are calculated from this one position automatically in the Web App.
The Find Z Position macro will probe the IR sensor to find the Machine coordinates.

Setting in up the magazine in the Web App could not be easier!

Post Processors

We have a variety of post processors for Fusion, Vectric and Carveco available as downloads along with information on how to edit and customize
them.

Printables

Magazine owners have access to free downloads of printable accessories and replacement parts.
